Madz & the Ladz
Mads can not remember a time when she didn't sing. A native of Ireland, Maddy grew up in an Irish bar with a very active music scene. She credits her brother Shane with teaching her the guitar from an early age. A classically trained pianist, Maddy has studied music theory and piano since the age of 5 and has taught classical music and band camp to dozens of Bethel residents. She has danced on stage and has enjoyed theater performances more than is necessary! She was a choir member for over 25 years but she decided to embrace the call of blues and rock and roll and has sung as a back up singer and as a lead vocalist in bands in CT and NY.
